WHAT: The Polaris Hockey Blast Minnesota, a three-day festival created to celebrate the State’s love of the sport and encompassing three separate events:
· The Beacon Bank Pond Hockey North America Championship;
· The 6th Annual Hockey Day Minnesota; and
· the Jack Jablonski Junior Bronze Tournament.

Men’s pond hockey teams begin three days of outdoor pond hockey competition

Adults and youth pond hockey teams continue competition

WHAT: Hockey Day Minnesota
Featuring three regulation high school varsity hockey games
The on-site Hockey Village will offer hockey-related vendors, food and drink
WHERE: NEW LOCATION: Pagel Activity Center in Minnetonka (18313 Highway 7)
TICKETS: Available at the door
All single tickets $25, student tickets $12 with proof of 18 or under.
TIMES: White Bear Lake vs. Grand Rapids (Boys) 10 a.m.
Minnetonka vs. Duluth East (Boys) 1:30 p.m.
Minnetonka vs. Hopkins (Girls) 4:30 p.m.
Hockey Day Minnesota will continue into the evening with two additional games:
· Minnesota Gophers vs. Colorado College at Mariucci Arena at 5 p.m.
· Minnesota Wild vs. Dallas Stars at Xcel Energy Center at 8 p.m.
Sunday, January 22

Adult and youth pond hockey teams continue competition
WHERE: In front of BayView Event Center and Maynards Restaurant in Excelsior
TICKETS: FREE
TIMES: 11 a.m. – 3 p.m.
WHAT: Jack Jablonski Junior Bronze Pond Hockey Tournament
This fundraiser will feature pond hockey players of all ages (mites to adults) playing in support of Jack Jablonski, a 16-year old sophomore at Benilde-St. Margaret’s High School who was recently injured and paralyzed during a hockey game.
Outdoor activities for the whole family including boot ball, Pond Putting, and Ice Skating.
Live music by Tim Mahoney from 1 – 3 p.m.
A silent auction featuring phenomenal items from local and national sports teams and other businesses, will also be conducted.
