OVER 300 BIKES COLLECTED FOR THOSE IN NEED
Minneapolis, Minn. (May 24, 2010) -- The spring 2010 Car-X Bike and Trike Collection for Hope For The City was a great success. The community supported those in-need by dropping off over 300 bikes and trikes during the three-hour collection held on Saturday morning, May 22, at four Twin Cities Car-X Auto Service locations:
• Eden Prairie: 8108 Eden Road, 952-946-0070
• Maplewood: 2128 Rice Street, 651-488-9422
• Richfield: 6645 Penn Avenue South, 612-861-2644
• Robbinsdale: 4044 Lakeland Avenue North, 763-504-0090
Clare Brumback, Executive Director of the non-profit partner, Hope For The City, expressed, “We are excited to have these quality bikes and trikes to share with our agency partners to serve their clients in need. Many of these bikes will be in the hands of children within the week, just in time for summer fun.”
Local Car-X Auto Service dealer Ashby Carter says, “All of the Car-X Auto dealers are proud to be able to support the community in this small way and thankful for our customers who help us make a difference for those who need it most.
