SUBWAY® Restaurants Launch Breakfast
Free Breakfast For All on April 30
Minneapolis/St. Paul, Minn. (April 12, 2010) – Breakfast is now available in all SUBWAY® restaurants nationwide. To celebrate the launch of the new breakfast menu, participating SUBWAY® restaurants throughout Minnesota and Wisconsin are hosting a Free Breakfast Day on April 30, 2010. Any customer who visits a local SUBWAY® restaurant on Friday, April 30 before 11 a.m. will be treated to one free breakfast melt (breakfast sandwich on an English muffin).
All SUBWAY® breakfast items include an egg-white or regular egg omelet with cheese. All are made-to-order and served on a light whole-wheat English muffin, or SUBWAY® restaurant’s traditional six-inch and footlong breads or flatbread. Breakfast menu options include Egg & Cheese; a Western & Cheese; the Black Forest Ham & Cheese; Double Bacon & Cheese; Sausage & Cheese; and Steak & Cheese.
As with the entire SUBWAY® menu, all breakfast sandwiches are made to order, right in front of the customer and can be customized to include all available fresh vegetables and other condiments. While customers build their better breakfast at SUBWAY® restaurants, the full menu will also be available, so they can also grab a sub for lunch when they stop in for breakfast.
The SUBWAY® breakfast sandwich menu will include a number of better-for-you selections, such as the Western Egg White Muffin Melt. This melt features Black Forest ham, American cheese, red onion, and green pepper on a light wheat English muffin. The Western Egg White Muffin Melt contains four grams of fat.
The breakfast menu also features healthier sides, such as yogurt and apple slices.
Restaurants are also serving Starbucks-owned Seattle’s Best Coffee; coffee will be available in most restaurants when breakfast is served.
