FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Schneiderman’s to host fundraiser for Bridging, Inc. on May 1
Plymouth, Minn. (March 23, 2010) — Schneiderman’s is actively recruiting people who want to rock – in a rocking chair, that is. On Saturday, May 1, bring your creatively costumed team of four people and rock away the day for a great cause.
Schneiderman’s Furniture is proud to host the inaugural “Schneiderman’s Furniture Rocks for Bridging” from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. at their Plymouth store located at 1600 Annapolis Lane North.
Teams are encouraged to register to participate in this family-friendly event where one team member will rock throughout the entire three hours. Master of Ceremonies Bill Hermann will lead the other three team members in wide range of fun activities such as musical chairs, the Tupperware Tower contest, trivia and much more.
Each contest winner will receive points. The team with the most collective points at the end of the event will qualify to win four $100 gift certificates to Schneiderman’s. Runners up will receive SUBWAY® sandwich coupons, movie tickets and other fun prizes.
Register your team today by emailing char@bridging.org or call 952-888-0745. Registration is $125 per foursome and all monies raised will go directly to Bridging due to the generosity of the Schneiderman’s and other sponsors.
There will also be a silent auction filled with furniture and other items up for bid at the Coffee Break area inside the Schneiderman’s store throughout the event.
Visitors are encouraged to bring their furniture and household items to drop off in the parking lot of the Schneiderman’s Plymouth location to donate to Bridging. New or gently used towels, sheets, silverware, pots and pans, lamps, furniture and more are welcome. For a complete list of suggested items, please visit: www.bridging.org.
Bridging, Inc. provides furniture and household goods to help make a house into a home to over 5,100 families annually. Bridging is thankful to the over 7,200 volunteers who donate over 88,170 hours annually to help run the non-profit organization. For more information on Bridging Inc., visit www.bridging.org.
