The Minnesota Street Rod Association’s “Back to the 50’s” Weekend presented by O’Reilly Auto Parts will be held June 18 - 20. More than 11,000 street rods, customs, classics and restored vehicles, all dating from 1964 and earlier, will blanket the Minnesota State Fairgrounds.

Car-X Auto Service is proud to partner with Hope For The City for the spring 2010 Car-X Bike and Trike Collection to be held on Saturday, May 22 from 9 a.m. until noon at four Twin Cities Car-X Auto Service locations.

All new or gently used bikes collected will be redistributed to Twin Cities kids in-need through Hope for the City, a non-profit organization which uses surplus products to fight hunger, poverty and disease. 

myTalk 107.1 to host bridal shower for Alexis Thompson on May 20 at Porter & Frye

myTalk 107.1’s Jason & Alexis show co-host, Alexis Thompson, will soon tie the knot with her fiancé, Angel.

In celebration, Jason and the station is throwing “Kiki” a bridal shower this Thursday, May 20 at Porter & Frye in Minneapolis. But instead of all the gifts going to the happy couple, they want this to be a donation drive for one of their favorite charities, Bridging, Inc.

 

The 44th Annual Edina Art Fair will be held June 4 – 6 in the 50th & France neighborhood of Edina. Not only will the event host 365 fine artists and crafters, but it will also feature some of the most talented local and regional musicians throughout the weekend.
